JAY ANDERSON
SINGER - DANCER - ACTOR
​Originally from Washington, DC, Singer, Dancer, Performer Jaymez Anderson began his professional performing at a very young age in musicals all over the east coast.
​
After receiving a full scholarship to St. Mary’s Ballet and eventually dancing with the professional company, He attended George Mason University on a dance scholarship. While in college Jaymez performed with world renown choreographer’s Mark Morris, Doug Varone, and Susan Shields.
​
After college, Jaymez traveled dancing for professional theatres, ballet and modern companies in West Virginia, New York, Maryland, Washington D.C. and Virginia. Previously he performed for Busch Garden’s Europe opening and closing shows for 4 yrs. Before leaving he performed as dance and vocal swing.
While performing, Jaymez has also choreographed for professional dance companies throughout the United States.

Before settling in the U. K. Jay worked on Carnival Cruise Line as Cast Manager whilst also performing. Starting as a dancer for their Vegas still shows. Jaymez was asked to install the new shows "Playlist Productions" as a dancer/singer on ships choreographed by several choreographers including Paul Roberts. Jaymez eventually took on the role as lead singer for several contracts

After arriving in the U.K. Jay has been very fortunate to perform in several commercials, plays, musicals, and tours including Midnight Train to Georgia - A Gladys Knight Tribute.
​
He performed in the U.K. revival of "Kinky Boots" as an Angel/ Lola understudy at New Wolsey Theatre and Queens Theatre. R​ecently, Jay was seen performing on the International Tour/West End production of "Bat Out of Hell" as Odessasuite, cover Jagwire.
